AVTEQ/ Living began when AVTEQ, now the leading manufacturer of video conferencing carts and mounts, was asked to lend our well-regarded a/v cart design and production skills to an industrial furniture maker. This successful 2-year partnership began with AVTEQ manufacturing high-quality metal TV carts for sale under a GSA furniture schedule and quickly expanded to include other metal furniture products. We realized that AVTEQ had so much experience and expertise to offer the institutional furniture market that we decided to pursue our own GSA contract in 2005 and AVTEQ/ Living was created.

Since acquiring that GSA contract in 2005, AVTEQ/ Living has delivered over 15,000 rooms of the most functional, highest quality furniture to military bases and dorms across the country.
